Little Girl Blue (aka My Baby Just Cares for Me), presented here both in its Stereo and its rare Mono versions, was Nina Simone’s debut album and first studio recording ever. Recorded when she was 25 years old, it was a tremendous success and led to a fabulous career that would produce more than 80 studio sessions. It contains such perennial classics as “I Loves You Porgy” and “My Baby Just Cares for Me”. The Mono version appears here on CD for the first time ever.
The three tracks that complete the sessions, originally issued on the compilation LP Nina Simone and Her Friends (Bethlehem BS-6041/BC-6041), have been added here as a bonus, both in their Stereo and Mono versions as well. All of the Mono versions appear here on CD for the first time ever.
This 2-CD edition is completed by one of Nina’s earliest recorded live sets, taped in Atlantic City in 1956, and four rare singles she recorded for the Colpix label which were never included on any of her LPs.

The stock is constantly changing. It's not entirely managed by us since we are involved with multiple parties such as the factory and our storage. The actual stock can fluctuate at any time. Please understand it may happen that your order will be out of stock when the order is placed.
Our policy is valid for 30 days. If you haven't received your product within 30 days, we're not able to issue either a return or exchange.
You are able to return a product if it is unused and in the same condition when you received it. It must also still remain in the original packaging.
