On this recording renowned cellist Simca Heled is conducting the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra with soloist Paul Neubauer. They perform a unique combination of Schubert and Puccini. The 5th symphony and the A minor sonata “Arpeggione” of the famous Viennese composer are interpreted plus Puccini’s quartet “Crisantemi”, arranged for string orchestra.
