Founded in 1995 The Benedictines of Mary are a young, contemplative and extremely musical monastic order of Sisters. They live a joyful life set apart from the world and sing together eight times a day, chanting the Divine Office in Latin as part of their monastic schedule. ‘Angels and Saints’ is their second release after ‘Advent,’ featuring 17 English and Latin pieces sung a capella on the feasts of the Holy Saints and Angels throughout the year at the Priory (their home) in the heart of America. It stormed to No.1 as Amazon’s overall best seller in music, ahead of Kanye West, Daft Punk and Black Sabbath.
